Lonesome Mel brings the Battle to HIghway 61 Coffeehouse

Lonesome Mel McFatter
Vicksburg's little sister, Port Gibson, is engaged in a heated battle over Highway 61 (or Church Street as it is known there). Lonesome Mel McFatter has written a song (as only he can) explaining the whole deal. Come see and hear the Second Battle of Port Gibson among others he will be performing here Thursday, June 26 starting around 7 PM.

Farmers Market

Vicksburg has a new Farmers Market, and Highway 61 Coffeehouse is excited about being part of it. We were there for opening day last Saturday, and will have hot coffee and iced latte most Saturdays. The Market hours are 8 AM to 11 AM.

Old Time Music is here...

This Thursday, June 19 we are hosting Bridging the Gap our local "Celtic to Old Time Music" group. As usual the music will run from about 7:30 to 9. Come check it out.

B.B. King brings the Blues to Town

Yes, B. B. King will be playing at the Vicksburg Convention Center on Thursday, June 12. To keep the celebration of the Blues rolling we will be hosting Vicksburg's Blues duo,
Osgood and Blaque
here at the
Highway 61 Coffeehouse
on
Friday the 13th
from about 7 PM to 9:30 PM.
